Car hire quotes include:
- Charges for the number of days of vehicle hire
- Kilometre allowance
- GPS,Baby seats and baby capsules if selected and paid for at the time of reservation
- GST and any rental administration charge.
Quotes do not include:
- Additional kilometres travelled in excess of the allowance included in the original quote. excess kilometres are charged at 39 cents each
- Rental extensions beyond the agreed return date and time
- Damage liability reduction charges (unless noted in the booking confirmation / quote prior to hire)
- Liability amount / Excess fee in the case of Motor Vehicle Accident or single vehicle damage during the period of hire
- Optional extra's not included in the original quote /booking such as Toll passes, GPS Toll Road Passes, Human error roadside assistance (refuelling, flat battery due to light left one etc)
- Fuel used during the rental period.
Items required at collection of vehicle.
- Original Drivers Licence.
- Photographic I.D.
- Credit card for imprint / deposit in case of accident or damage.
- If your licence is in a language other than english an officially certified english translation is required.
Arrival / Collections.
- If you are delayed by your Airline please contact us immediately.
- On time arrivals will be given priority, late arrivals will be served in turn on completion of on time arrival customers.
- Where delay requires arrival outside of our servicable hours the vehicle will be made available from the nearest depot during regular business hours.
Payment of Booking Fee: The booking fee is 20% of the total cost of hire charged at the time of booking confirmation.
Bookings over $1000.00 may request in writting a lower booking fee to a minimum of 10% of the total hire cost subject to acceptance by the company.
The booking fee is deducted from your total cost of hire at the time of hire
EG: if your hire /quote is $200 then your booking fee would be $40. You would pay $40 at the time of booking and the remaining $160 when you collect the vehicle.
The booking fee is the amount charged for the service of holding the vehicle for the specific period requested by you at the time of booking including the service of collecting specific booking information for the purpose of reserving the vehicle. This service is completed at the time of booking and the booking is confirmed only on receipt of the booking fee.The booking fee is therefore non refundable. For payment of the booking fee we accept:
- VISA
- MASTERCARD
- PAYPAL
- CASH (at depot / counter only)
- Australian Money Order.
- Bank cheque (no personal cheques will be accepted)
Payment of the Rental Balance: The balance of rental due at the time of hire may be paid by:
- Cash, Credit or Eftpos
- Please note although we accept cash payments a valid credit card is required at the time of hire for all new and late model cars.When collecting a car you must present a valid credit card in your name with sufficient funds to cover the cost of any additional bonds, optional extras, rental extensions or fuel charges.The credit card holder must be present at collection of the vehicle.
- Economy range vehicles may be hired under a cash Bond with prior arrangement only. Where hiring under cash bonds vehicles MUST be collected and returned to the depot.
- As no cash is held at our rental depots, Cash bonds will be immediately deposited to the holding account and will be refunded by cheque only.
- Refund cheque will be sent to the residential address listed on the hirer 1 Drivers Licence only.
- Refund cheque will be made out to the person listed as Hirer 1 on the rental agreement only.
- Processing time for bond refunds is 7 to 21 days from vehicle clearance.
- We accept cash bonds with prior arrangement only.
- We reserve the right to refuse a cash bond request.
Rental Period
- Rental periods are charged in full days only. 1 day equals 24 hours. Minimum rental periods may apply to some vehicles.
- A grace period of no more than 30 minutes is provided for late returns at which time Late fees per the rental agreement may apply.
Liability Cover:
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance including third party and public liability is included in our rates.
- A Liability Excess is payable in the case of accident or damage.
- Liability excess may be reduced on payment of the daily Liability reduction premium.
- Liability cover ceases at the date and time noted in the rental contract, cover will only be extended on pre payment of any rental extension charges.
The Rental Agreement:
The rental agreement will be supplied for your perusal at the time of hire and prior to your accepting the rental vehicle. Should you disagree with any term or condition contained therein you may cancel the hire at any time prior to signing the rental agreement.
Once the rental rental agreement is signed any cancellation is subject to the Terms and Conditions agreed to at the time of hire and contained within the Rental Agreement.
